to partake in trying angling out; have a dabble! We would like to open angling to<br />
people and young people as a wonderful natural heritage pastime. Come and try fly<br />
fishing for the first time. All ages welcome to learn the joys of angling.<br />

Traditional Currach Regatta & Demonstration: The Rosses Currach Club<br />
traditional currach racing and demonstrations including the distinctive, local<br />
Owey Currach, photo exhibition and examples of Owey Currach building. There<br />
will be competitive racing across the afternoon and commentary from the pier. A<br />
revival of the old traditions, including building of the Owey Island currach, has<br />
been achieved in the last ten years.<br />
