ST. PATRICK’S PURGATORY, LOUGH DERG<br />
Day Retreat: a guided day following traditional prayer forms such as the Rosary<br />
and Way of the Cross. Pilgrims are asked to arrive between 9:15 a.m. and<br />
10:00 a.m. for registration. Following opening prayers at 10:20 a.m., retreatants<br />
will follow a set programme that includes the Way of the Cross and Healing of<br />
Memories. The afternoon affords time for the Sacrament of reconciliation and<br />
some personal time for reflection or reconnecting with friends on the Island. The<br />
day concludes with mass.<br />

Family Day: an opportunity for families with young children to enjoy the<br />
sanctity of this special place. Now in its 4th year, this popular day provides a<br />
rare opportunity for you and your children to enjoy the special atmosphere of the<br />
Island before going back to school. Adults will also get a much-earned break in<br />
the morning when they drop off the children to Davog House for themed, agespecific<br />
art and craft morning, while they are inspired by prayer and guidance in<br />
the Basilica. Families come together for lunch and some free time. Everyone will<br />
come together in the afternoon for a family prayer service in Davog House before<br />
departing the Island at 3 p.m.<br />
