I am glad to welcome you to <strong>Ericsson</strong> <strong>Madrid</strong> R&D celebration of our 25th Anniversary.<br />
As a part of this celebration different activities will be organized for internal and external attendants.<br />
Sharing knowledge and experience is crucial for success. We want to take this opportunity to show our distinguished guests how <strong>Madrid</strong><br />
R&D is contributing to innovation and cutting edge technology in the areas of User & Data Management and Traffic Management.<br />

Improving User Experience with Smartpipe solutions<br />
This demo shows how, using SAPC and SASN products developed<br />
at EEM, the network becomes smarter, enabling each user to receive<br />

Seamless Traffic Off-loading with SAPC-ANDSF<br />
The demo shows the capability of the operator to offload traffic to<br />
another access network (e.g., WLAN or 3G) when the user streams<br />
a videoclip. This is achieved by setting up user policies in a policy<br />
controller (PCRF) together with an ANDSF node.<br />

Service Awareness for IPv6 traffic<br />
IPv6 is here! This demo shows how SASN can perform deep packet<br />

This demo will be a time travel from HLR birth up to now. What main<br />
telecom challenges the original HLR had to face and how <strong>Ericsson</strong><br />
overcame them through innovation and a lot of hard work. It will show<br />
how this innovation created new nodes like HSS and CUDB and how<br />
the <strong>Ericsson</strong> User Data Consolidation Solution is prepared for the<br />
Networked Society age.<br />

Stream Analytics applied to Smartgrid<br />
In this demo, we use the electricity demanding and generation<br />
forecast problem to illustrate the value of stream analytics<br />
techniques over traditional approaches. The user will be to able to<br />
generate changes in the demanding patterns by emulating unusual<br />
behaviors and generatoing unusual unexpected circumstances to<br />
increase the forecasting of wind energy generation.<br />

Data Stream Processing applied to Real-time Mobile<br />
advertising<br />
In this demo Data Stream Processing technology is applied over a<br />
telecommunications network to enable a Real-time Mobile Advertisement<br />
System. Continuous streams of information from several<br />
sources are processed so that advertisements generated are based<br />
on the user’s context, interests and profile, enabling a proactive<br />
advertising system which seeks to know to Who, When, What and<br />
How the ads have to be sent.<br />
