Rehabilitation without
Drawing on its many years of experience,
Kirchhoff offers a system which saves you time
and money whilst observing the most stringent
demands on safety, security and quality.
Step by step to the optimum result:
1. A rehabilitation project starts with an assessment
of the current situation to determine
the extent of damage.
Renewal of airport runways and aprons
Renewal of cement bound
base course and concrete
pavement, including
runway lights
2. The time window available for the renewal
work is then defi ned (e.g. during runway
closure times, at nights and /or weekends
or outside operating times). If runways are
rehabilitated during closure times, the local
resources and the logistics are examined
meticulously.
Rehabilitation without
on-going flight operations
Renewal of the asphalt base
course, asphalt binder layer
and asphalt wearing course,
including runway lights
3. Only then is the rehabilitation method selected.
