The principle of parallized function sequences!<br />
Application areas:<br />
Projecting of industrial plant documentation including manufacturing data<br />
management in an integrated manner. across the areas of processing technic / R&I,<br />
Fluid, M&R, process control and mechatronic.<br />
Function attributes:<br />
Object oriented <strong>CAE</strong> and <strong>CAD</strong> 2D/3D planning tool.<br />
Parallelized project data processing without thee needing of any generation<br />
processes using multi-threading, that means online changing of all documents in<br />
the moment of data-input. 32/64 Bit App. for XP/VISTAfull support of<br />
multiple cores.<br />
The <strong>CAE</strong> plan development<br />
works online over all areas and uses intelligent function units, multiple<br />
dimensioned symbol objects or consists of process sequences.<br />
The <strong>ESplan</strong>® Reverse-processing of plan data makes it possible to access<br />
these data from any area (DB, drawing, documents).<br />
Modifications within a specific area force the change of all other areas accordingly<br />
representing the changed object to result a consistent plan.<br />
The <strong>ESplan</strong>® macro management lets you build intelligent function units<br />
consisting of interfaces that communicate and associate automatically to each<br />
other when implemented into the plan.<br />
The pure E-technical part of <strong>ESplan</strong>® offers all generally used function<br />
techniques to create a circuit plan diagram starting with the object auto-connect -<br />
routing and circuit breaker techniques up to clamps, cables and part list<br />
documents.<br />
<strong>ESplan</strong>® lets you create hardware priented circuit diagrams getting all<br />
necessary manufacturing datas.<br />
<strong>ESplan</strong>® Symbol objects<br />
consist of data, methods and geometries.<br />
It can be displayed and controlled one- or multidimensional.<br />
For to be identified within a diagram the symbol consists of a structure of basic<br />
parameters:<br />
Type, =, +, BMK, Pins & PinVars, function 1.n, Article-Container, Link and<br />
grafical.<br />
Symbol objects can be implemented into installation, location, field, field -<br />
distribution, console and other built-in areas.<br />
The <strong>CAD</strong> functions<br />
Allow constructive winding-ups with processing possibilities on a high level and consist of a<br />
layer management, measurement, associating measuring and an interface to the market<br />
standards like DXF, DWG. For a realistic reconstruction of imported Autocad® DWG<br />
drawings there are supported Autocad ® SHX Fonds and Windows TrueTypes.<br />

Mechatronic:<br />
Optionally <strong>ESplan</strong>® offers a 3D mechatronic modeller based on OpenGL. This<br />
modeller allows you to create a mechatronic 3D model with 3D gear objects based<br />
on the <strong>ESplan</strong>® -circuit plan data and depending on the import interface and to<br />
generate the wirings data using the mentioned routing function.<br />
The needed object resources are generated by a special 3D symbol editor and will<br />
be managed within a symbol bar.<br />
A macro management allows you to save 3D sceneries and to load/process it if<br />
needed.<br />
There are available several routing procedures and a cable design tool.<br />
This tool consists of a couple of 3D processing functions and manages 3D graphics<br />
within a scenery graphical conception.<br />
The import interface allows you to import usual common 3D formats and<br />
exchange formats0 Step and IGES.<br />
The added value:<br />
Validations, different viewings and print-outs of cable confectioning data/-trees /<br />
3D-plan with lengths and part lengths allow to handle the costs of manufacturing<br />
and maintenance more efficiently.<br />
<strong>ESplan</strong>® installation structures<br />
The briefing resp. the definition of an installation structure corresponds generally<br />
to national and international norms but also the structures can be connected to<br />
special departments and functions. These connections of similar objects using<br />
different designs offer elegant navigation possibilities and contain cross<br />
references. (E-Docu, R&I, Mechanic, Fluid,...)<br />
Owner of installations can link gear objects within planes with databases fo to<br />
display maintenance intervals, technical data nad much more.<br />
For to design different working areas within a project plan <strong>ESplan</strong>® offers the<br />
possibility of the defining different page sizes according to the norm.<br />

The 2D Tool for to equip online switchboard cabinet; CabinetLayout2<br />
With <strong>ESplan</strong> CabinetLayout2 your circuit plan layout will build itself up automatically during circuit<br />
plan creation.<br />
Using installation/Location structure of the entire project this tool will determine to place the cabinet<br />
board to the appropriate location.<br />
The basic layout is to edited and measured using effective functions according to your wishes<br />
The layout is drawn to scale.<br />

To receive the internal wiring of your switchboard cabinet you have to create your circuit plan „hardware<br />
oriented“.<br />
The <strong>ESplan</strong> Multi connection offers the perfect output of all wiring connections with appropriate<br />
configurational and functional parameters.<br />
The export interface generates Office Access, Excel and SCV-Data using the internal List generator and<br />
SQL.<br />

Material data, but from where?<br />
You now need still only one central source of material data , e. g. SAP<br />
This database can be attached by <strong>ESplan</strong> in read only mode very fast using ODBC.<br />
The connection of data sources is realisable fast and easy. The planner gets access to the database<br />
being connected to the system and assigns material data to the symbol objects.<br />
Symbol objects are to be saved with mate3rial datas.<br />
The part lists are generated in <strong>ESplan</strong> like all forms online<br />
The office – export – interface allows data export in any direction.<br />

DWG interface – graphical data exchange on high level<br />
<strong>ESplan</strong> consists of a very powerful DWG import – export interface.<br />
The DWG interface supports layer, blocks and will us, if present, the original AUTO<strong>CAD</strong> fonts. It can<br />
reconstruct different views of a camera to the model and transfers also 3D views.<br />
The converted drawing can be further processed with <strong>ESplan</strong> owned tools and also be converted<br />
back.<br />
DWG direkt is a tool of <strong>ESplan</strong> making the DWG file immediately editable without conversion in<br />
<strong>ESplan</strong>.<br />
