Materials: 1 100gskein Estelle Cloud Cotton2 buttons (one decorative for outside, one flat for inside)
4 mm & 4.5mm needles
Abbreviations: K- knitP- purl
YO- yarn over
K2tog- knit two together
Seed Stitch: K1, P1, repeat to end of row
Tension: 20 stitches over 4” using 4.5 mm needle. Change needle size if necessary to obtain correct tension.
Sizes: 0-6 month/ 6-12 month/ 12-18 month
Finished chest measurement approx 20”/ 22”/24”
Back
With 4mm needles, cast on 50 (55, 60) sts. Work 6 rows in seed stitch.
Change to larger needles, work in st st until back measures 8.5” (10”, 11.5”) from cast on, ALWAYS knitting the first and last stitch
of every row to create a selvage st. Put stitches on a holder.
Right Front
With 4 mm needles, cast on 42 (47, 52) sts. Work 6 rows in seed stitch.
Change to 4.5mm needles.
*RS- Work 3 stitches in seed stitch (edge), work in st st to end of row, always knitting last stitch.
WS- K1, P38 (43, 48) seed stitch last 3 stitches.
Repeat from * until 5” (6.5”, 8”) from cast on, ending with a WS row.
Neck Edge
RS-Cast off 7 (9, 11)stitches, knit to end of row.
*WS- K1, P to end of row.
RS- Cast off 2 stitches, knit to end of row.
Repeat from * until 12 (18, 20) stitches remain.
Leave 12 (18, 20) remaining stitches on a holder.
Left Front
With 4 mm needles, cast on 42 (47, 52) stitches.
Knit 6 rows in seed stitch.
Change to 4.5 mm needles.
*RS- K38 (43, 48) work in seed stitch for last 3 stitches (edge).
WS- Work in seed stitch first 3 stitches, P38 (43, 48), K1.
Continue from * until 5” (6.5”, 8”) from cast on row ending with a RS row.
Neck Edge
WS- Cast off 7 (9, 11) stitches, P to last stitch, K1.
*RS-K.
WS-Cast off 2 stitches, P to last stitch, K1.
Repeat from * until 12 stitches remain.
Leave 12 (18, 16)remaining stitches on a holder.
Sleeves (make 2)
With 4 mm needles, cast on 32 (38, 42) stitches.
Work in seed stitch for 6 rows.
Change to 4.5 mm needles and work in st st, knitting the first & last stitch of every row to create a selvage. When sleeve measures 5
(6, 7)” from beg, cast off.
Join right front and left front pieces to back using the 3 needle bind-off technique. Leave the centre stitches of the back piece on a
holder.
Neck Band
With 4mm needles, cast on 4 sts. With RS of right front facing, pick up approximately 89 (93, 97) stitches around the neck edge.
Work 2 rows in seed stitch.
Button hole row- With WS facing, work 2 sts in seed stitch, YO, K2tog, continue in seed stitch until last 3 sts, YO, K2tog, work last
stitch as per the pattern.
Work 2 rows in seed stitch. Cast off.
Sew in sleeves.

Sew side seams using selvage stitches along edge to keep seams flat.
Sew on buttons.
Weave in ends.

Small Hat- 12” circumference
Materials
1 100 gram skein of Estelle Cloud Cotton
4.5 mm double pointed needles
Cast on 54 stitches and join in the round being careful not to twist.
Work in seed stitch for 4 rounds.
Continue in stocking stitch for 2”.
Begin decrease
Round 1- *K7, K2tog* rep from * to * for one round.
Round 2 and alt rounds- Knit
Repeat these two rounds until 3 stitches remain.
Work remaining stitches in i-cord until desired length.
Weave yarn through remaining stitches.
Weave in ends.
Tie i-cord in a knot.
Large Hat- 13” circumference
Materials
1 100 gram skein of Estelle Cloud Cotton
4.5 mm double pointed needles
Cast on 60 stitches
Work in seed stitch for 4 rounds.
Continue in stocking stitch for 2.5”
Begin decrease
Round 1- K8, K2tog.
Round 2- knit.
Round 3- knit.
Continue decrease rounds until 3 sts remain.
Work remaining stitches in I-cord until desired length.
Weave in yarn through remaining stitches.
Weave in ends.
Tie I-cord in a knot.

5 mm needles
Ridge Stitch Pattern
Row 1- knit
Row 2- K3, P118, K3
Row 3- K3, P2, (K4, P6) 11 times, K4, P2, K3
Row 4- K3, P118, K3
Row 5- knit
Row 6- K3, P118, K3
Row 7- K4, (P6, K4) 11 times, P6, K4
Row 8- K3, P118, K3
Cast on 124 stitches. Knit 10 rows in garter stitch
Work in ridge stitch pattern until blanket measures approximately 30”.
Work 10 rows in garter stitch.
Cast off. Weave in ends.
