Teaching financial literacy? Trying to get up to speed on personal finance topics that you’ll be<br />
teaching? Looking for new ideas, resources, and strategies that engage and stimulate middle<br />
and high school-aged students? Need ideas for reaching and teaching special needs, at-risk,<br />
advanced, and English language learners? Not sure how to get started?<br />
Fun, interactive, and meaningful financial literacy teacher training workshops are available in<br />
two New Jersey locations. A 2-day, 13-hour professional development opportunity awaits you.<br />

Join your peers in a fun and interactive “boot camp” of two 6.5- hour workshops that will<br />
provide the knowledge, skills, approaches, activities, and tools to understand and teach<br />
personal finance issues to meet the Standard 9.2 requirements. <strong>Boot</strong> camp participants will<br />
engage with other teachers to discuss ways to teach students about financial services, credit,<br />
investing, insurance, taxes, loans, and financial goal setting. Creative and innovative teaching<br />
strategies will be discussed along with resources for personal and professional use. This will<br />
be a fun, interactive, and creative hands-on event.<br />
Attend both workshops and receive a <strong>Boot</strong> <strong>Camp</strong> certificate. Space is limited<br />
