Location<br />
The meeting will take place in the<br />
historical city centre of Avignon.<br />
Avignon is located in south-east of<br />
France, an important vegetables and<br />
fruits production area.<br />
Scientific programme<br />
The EUCARPIA meetings on<br />
<strong>Cucurbitaceae</strong> are held every 4 years.<br />
<strong>Cucurbitaceae</strong> <strong>2008</strong> intends to bring<br />
together all the researchers involved in<br />
Cucurbits genetics and breeding to<br />
share new developments in all aspects<br />
of:<br />
• Genetic resources<br />
• Genetics and breeding<br />
• Genomics and biotechnology<br />
The scientific programme includes oral<br />
and poster presentations submitted to<br />
the scientific committee. The meeting<br />
will be conducted in English.<br />
The meeting will include a one-day<br />
technical trip.<br />
