The meeting will take place in the
historical city centre of Avignon.
Avignon is located in south-east of
France, an important vegetables and
fruits production area.
Scientific programme
The EUCARPIA meetings on
Cucurbitaceae are held every 4 years.
Cucurbitaceae 2008 intends to bring
together all the researchers involved in
Cucurbits genetics and breeding to
share new developments in all aspects
of:
• Genetic resources
• Genetics and breeding
• Genomics and biotechnology
The scientific programme includes oral
and poster presentations submitted to
the scientific committee. The meeting
will be conducted in English.
The meeting will include a one-day
technical trip.
