W&H has developed a series of straight and contra-angle handpieces for maxillo-facial surgery, implantology and

Meeting the highest surgical requirements
Easy to dismantle – cleaning right into the corners
To enable thorough cleaning to be carried out, non-optic
instruments (except WI-75 E/KM) can be easily and
quickly dismantled and re-assembled – without the use
of tools. Cleaning parts individually provides the most
effective result.
Perfect hygiene
Hygiene is essential – above all in the
operating theatre. The smooth surfaces of the
instruments make them easy to clean.
All straight and contra-angle handpieces can
be sterilized up to 135 °C and can be subjected to
thermo washer disinfection.

Leak-tight seals
W&H surgical handpieces are
provided with a maintenancefree
sealing system in the
head region. This reduces
the ingress of dirty liquid

External and internal parts are made of
high-quality stainless steel. This guarantees
operating safety and longevity – even under
extreme loading conditions.
The special high-precision steel transmission
parts are extremely durable components,
which minimize the friction in the
ball bearings. This not only

for the instrument, but also
means power is produced
more efficiently. The result is
quiet, vibration-free running
and sensitive, fatigue-free
working conditions.

Strong grip means safety
One thing is sure: the rotary instrument is securely
gripped – even under high loads. This is ensured on the
contra-angle handpieces by a convenient press-button
chuck and on the straight handpieces by a practical
single-handed lever chuck.
Cooling – exactly as you like it
The flow of coolant is uniform, safe and with pinpoint
accuracy. With straight and angled handpieces, the
spray inflow can be matched to the particular length of
the rotary instrument.
Handy in every situation
The shape of the surgical instruments perfectly
matches the special gripping positions. Their ideal
balance and slim silhouette ensure precise guidance
with good viewing conditions.
Sophisticated positioning
The position of the head on the contra-angle handpieces
can be adjusted in 90° steps. Difficult-to-access
preparation sites are thereby easier to reach.

The intelligent performance package makes the
Elcomed the top equipment in its class. Pointing the
way forward is the initialization function.
Individual programs with exactly defined operating
parameters are simply entered with the INI Card.
