Fire Department Apparatus Maintenance Hour - Per Unit
The firehouse is a very busy place, requiring a lot of maintenance. Each day, the firefighters spend time taking
care of the firehouse. Through their diligent efforts, the firehouse is a clean, safe place to work that we can all
be proud of.
On a daily basis:
The floors are swept
Bathrooms are cleaned
Kitchen is cleaned
All scrap paper placed in recycle
bin
Trash cans emptied
Refrigerator cleaned
Showers cleaned
Apparatus bay floor and work
room are cleaned
Emergency generator is run
and inspected
Air-Care transports a victim of a multi-car
accident on I-75
