GRAND KNIGHT’S MESSAGE:
Prayer is a very powerful tool and we use it often in our daily lives. I
ask you to continue to pray for our Chaplains as they struggle to regain
their health. They have dedicated their lives to helping others and guiding
us in our Faith, now we need to take extra time to visit with our Lord on
their behalf. May God Bless Monsignors Harry and Petru.
A Major Degree will be held on February 13th starting with Mass at
8:00 am. This is a 2nd and 3rd Degree exemplification. It will be held at
the KC Community Center. We encourage all 1st Degree Members to
please attend this fraternal function. KC members are encouraged to attend
and support the candidates.
Our annual Ladies Night will be held February 4th, beginning at 6
PM. It is an evening to say thanks to the ladies for all their help throughout
the year. We will have a steak dinner, door prizes and a dance. Please
call the KC Hall (968-5117), if you plan to attend so we know how much
to prepare.
If you have paid your dues, thank-you but if you have not please do so
soon, so our Financial Secretary does not have to spend time and money
sending out additional notices.
Our annual Fish Fry will be held March 11, the first Friday of Lent.
We ask all members to please come and help.
As always we need to mark our calendars for the MS 150 Bike-A-Thon
which is on April 16-17. We will need everyone’s support for this weekend.
It is our largest project and fund-raiser, funding our contributions to
Sacred Heart School and various other Church support.
Our council will host a chili cook-off on February 26 at the KC Hall.
Our Annual Domino Tournament will be held on Sunday, February
27th.
This Council needs a Grand Knight and a Deputy Grand Knight to
take office in July if we want this Council to continue. If you are interested

CHAPLAIN’S CORNER
January 22 was the 37th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision to legalize abortions
in the United States. During these 37 years, millions and millions of innocent lives have been destroyed.
Some progress has been made in controlling abortions to some extent, but we have a long way to go to
restore the sanctity of life in our society today. We must continue to work and pray that life may be respected
from the beginning to the end in our great nation.
Also another request I have is to remind the members to make a greater effort in attending our monthly
meeting which is every second Tuesday of the month.
My special greeting and prayers to all our members and families.

KC DOMINO TOURNAMENT - FEBRUARY 27
The Knights of Columbus will be hosting their annual domino tournament on Sunday, February 27. You
can choose between “straight or 42”. Come out and enjoy some fun and fellowship. Registration will begin at
9:00am and play at 10:00 am. Call the hall at 968-5117 for more information.

SACRED HEART SCHOOL DINNER & DANCE
Sacred Heart School will hold a Dinner and Dance at the KC Community Center on Saturday, February
5th. A Social will start at 6:00 pm, with a meal and dancing to follow. For tickets you can contact the school

MAJOR DEGREE EXEMPLIFICATION-FEBRUARY 13, 2011
We will be hosting a 2nd and 3rd Major Degree Ceremony on Sunday, February 13. It will begin at 8:00
am Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. If you know of a current First Degree member, encourage them to
take the next level of our organization. For those of you who are already a Third Degree member, come out
and be a witness. Hope to see you there.
