The Mimar Sinan ecursion in sküdar is one of the
shortest tours so it is possible to combine this with the
Sultanahmet tour.
f you arrive in sküdar by boat, you will not fail to notice
the works of Mimar Sinan since they were built very close to
the pier, and all are within walking distance. However, if you
choose to combine your ecursion in sküdar with the tour
of Sultanahmet, you should start by visiting the
(built between the years 1570 and
1583) , which was built on one of the hills of sküdar
and is a little further to visit than the other Sinan buildings
in sküdar. As the hill is quite steep, we advise you to use
public transport. The comple encompassing the mosque

stanbul. t was the Valide Sultan (Mother Sultan) Comple
until the Mother Sultan Gülnu commissioned the New
Mother Sultan Comple in sküdar at the beginning of
