For dispensing alcohol or water based<br />
low-viscosity flux used in selective sol<strong>de</strong>ring<br />
applications, ATN <strong>de</strong>veloped the<br />
<strong>dispenser</strong> DropJet.<br />
Application of flux is achieved contactlessly<br />
with flux droplets.<br />

The digital controller drives the <strong>dispenser</strong><br />
valve and can be interfaced to<br />
machine control (e.g. PLC) via its I/O<br />
interface (24 VDC).<br />
By <strong>de</strong>tecting the jet, proper dispensation<br />
of flux can be assured.<br />
This prevents problems caused by<br />
residue or dirt on the nozzle opening,<br />
possibly causing an un<strong>de</strong>tected interruption<br />
of flux application.<br />
In addition, a change of flux jet trajectory<br />
can be <strong>de</strong>tected, ensuring application<br />
of flux where it was inten<strong>de</strong>d.<br />
