2. BACKLINE REQUIREMENTS<br />

All equipment and backline to be set up and ready for the band, prior to the sound<br />

check time, so that sound check can begin immediately on arrival of the band, see<br />

Stage plot for set-up.<br />

3. SOUND REINFORCEMENT<br />

FOH SPEC : Professional quality system, E.g.: L.Acoustics/NEXO GEO/D&B<br />

The size of the PA system should be adequate to deliver loud, high quality sound without distortion, and<br />

uniformity across the whole venue. Separated feeds from the desk to any in/out stage and balcony fills are<br />

required .The system must be able to cover the entire audience area evenly with an SPL of 110 Db (A weight).<br />

Unless you are using a line array system with the proper software to calculate throw characteristics, you must<br />

allow 10 watts per person. Ex: 400 persons > 4 000 watts - 1 000 persons >10 000 watts. Anything less than<br />

100% coverage would not be acceptable unless agreed prior the show , with the promoter. The all PA system<br />

must have the facility to be time aligned to any point of the stage.<br />

The FOH POSITION must be at a distance of 10 meters from the downstage edge of the stage (unless we ‘ve<br />

got a really big PA System!), aligned to the stage centre, on the floor (NO RISER PLEASE) , and NEVER<br />

under a balcony or against a wall.<br />

- One (1) mixing desk: 32 CHANNELS. Fitted with VCA’s, Variable HPF, 2 fully parametric band of EQ<br />

minimum. E.g:, MIDAS XL3/XL4/Heritage series.<br />

- One (1) 31 bands stereo EQ (KT/XTA) .PLEASE NO YAMAHA. In the case of a multi-diffusion, please<br />

provide one channel of EQ per feed.<br />

- Twelve (12) channels of compression (DBX/Drawmer/BSS)<br />

- Six (6 channels) Frequency Selective dual channel NOISE GATES (E.g.: XTA G2 /DRAWMER DS 201)<br />

- FX: 3 FX Unit and 1 delay Unit. Note: FX Sends can be mono but Returns must be stereo apart of the delay<br />

unit and using desk channels with parametric EQ+HPF<br />

- One (1) CD player and One (1) CD Recorder.<br />

MONITOR SPEC :<br />

ACTIVE MONITOR SYSTEM IS MORE THAN PREFERRED<br />

THE MONTOR SYSTEM INCLUDING A DEDICATED SOUND CHECK IS A MUST HAVE<br />

- We need one 2m x 3m x 0,4m drum riser and a chair without arm-rest.<br />

- We need 2 (two) sound technicians with a good knowledge of the sound system ,as well as 2 (two) stage hands<br />

to help loading our gear. The sound technician looking after monitors will mix the band monitors.<br />

4. HOSPITALITY RIDER<br />

A) STAGE<br />

Promoter to provide at their sole expense a rigid, safe and secure permanent stage. The area shall be<br />

for the Artist and their support acts sole use and any obstacles limiting the use or view of the stage area<br />

must be removed before the arrival of the Artist.<br />

B) ACCESS / PARKING<br />

Promoter to provide a secured parking space on our arrival on the show day for one Van/tour bus +<br />

trailer (18 meters), with access to a power outlet for the bus and access to the<br />

backstage, when possible. The parking must be safe and overlooked by one security steward.<br />

C) LOCAL CREW<br />

The PROMOTER will provide the following LOCAL crew:<br />

• One production manager–with authority to make the highest decisions including:<br />

payment, contract, show time intermission, doors opening and backstage arrangements.<br />

• One P.A engineer,who must have a full knowledge of the entire P.A system<br />

• One Monitor engineer, who must have a full knowledge of the monitor system.<br />

• One sound assistant to do all the stage work such as cables, patching, before and during the<br />

show.<br />

• One person in charge of Hospitality and dressing rooms.<br />

• Two stage hands for Load in and Load out.<br />

Please make sure the entire crew provided is not under the influence of alcohol or any drugs.<br />

• One runner with a van size (able to carry 7 people) from time to load-in until completion<br />

of load- out for the use of the band (hotel-soundcheck; soundcheck-hotel; ottel-showtime;<br />

venue- hotel).<br />

D) SECURITY<br />

Promoter agrees to provide an adequate number of experienced security stewards to ensure the safety<br />

of the Artist, their personal belongings, instruments and all equipment before and after the show, any<br />

losses incurred, will be reimburse by the promoter.<br />

Stewards must be at the backstage entrance, dressing room, and parking (bus)<br />

The security chief will be briefed by the tour manager before the doors opens.<br />

E) HALL<br />

The hall and all its facilities to be available from the load-in and the Promoter to ensure that<br />

no persons other than his staff and the Artist’s personnel are allowed access before “doors open” time<br />

without the approval of the Artist. Doors can’t be open before the tour manager gives his agreement.<br />

F) DRESSING ROOM<br />

Promoter to provide one reasonable sized, clean and lockable (keys available to the Artist) dressing<br />

room with the following furnitures :<br />

• 2 sofa’s<br />

• chairs + tables<br />

• 2 mirrors,<br />

• 8 clean towels<br />

• 4 power points<br />

• Internet wireless connection<br />

• private shower and toilet facilities<br />

• An iron & an ironing board<br />

Dressing Room Hospitality:<br />

Tea, coffee, Natural mineral and sparkling water at all times<br />

As well as :<br />

• selection of bread<br />

• A selection of cheese and delicatessen<br />

• Mixed salads (salads, tomatoes, carrots, ...)<br />

• Assorted whole and dry fruits<br />

• Ginger root<br />

• Chocolate bars, cookies<br />

• (Sambal Oelek)<br />

• 24 units of beers<br />

• 2 bottles of Rum (Havana Club preferred)<br />

• 6 bottles (1,5 l) COKE<br />

• 2 bottles (1,5 l) FANTA<br />

• 6 cans of energy drink (redbull...)<br />

• 2 bottles of red wine<br />

• 3*1 litres of Orange and/or apple juice<br />

To be delivered to the stage: 10 x 500ml bottles of mineral water - 8 towels<br />

G) MAIN MEAL<br />

Promoter will provide a good quality, freshly prepared meal (hot dish + dessert + beverage & coffee).<br />

In case of a buy out an amount of 25€/35$ each will be required.<br />

H) RECORDING AND FILMING<br />

No tape recording, filming, video or photography may take place within the venue for commercial<br />

purposes without an agreement with the artist management.<br />

I) GUEST LIST<br />

Promoter agrees to a minimum guest-list of two tickets per person in the travel party including fifteen<br />

(15) “all access” passes.<br />

J) HOTEL<br />

The accommodation, 7 singles (king size bed) rooms, must be provided at a 3 Star hotel (European<br />

standard). Full breakfast must be included at the cost of the promoter. The location of the hotel<br />

should be as close to the venue as possible, where a tour bus/Van can have easy access to, where a tour<br />

bus/Van has parking space and a power outlet for the duration of the Artist’s stay.<br />

BEWARE : If the hotel does not conform to the rider, the tour manager would insist on being<br />

placed elsewhere at the cost of the promoter.<br />

This is the rooming list of the band, please forward it to the hotel. This rooming list should be ready<br />

for the band’s arrival, 8 copies for all the band members. Each member should be pre registered, key<br />

ready in an envelope at the desk.<br />
