7/4 Barrington 4 th of July Parade- Cancelled! Ron Gliot – Barrington is charging $50 to all parade entrants. The board agreed, as a non-profit organization we have chosen not to attend! – (see 7/28 Founders Day Parade) Rowling Meadows - 4 th of July Parade – Carol MacCabe – Rolling Meadows has asked our club to attend their 4 th of July Parade this yr. on Wednesday, July 4 th . We will meet at Mc Donald’s in Rolling Meadows prior to the parade – Stage at 10 AM, parade kickoff at 11 AM. Looking for a place to eat after the parade. 7/21-22 Peoria Winery & River Boat – 2 day drive out – Dave Burna – Lodging will be at the Hampton Inn, $112 a night, the parking will be sectioned off for the Corvettes. Fri. night - Winery with band shell, and entertainment. Sat. - Going to the Route 66 Museum in Pontiac IL. Members will have an opportunity to take pictures of their cars in a vintage setting. Then we will be eating at “The Mansion”. 7/28 Algonquin Founders Day Parade – Ron Gliot - It is a locally supported parade and has lots of craft stuff, activities, fireworks and food down in park on the Fox River. Will do lunch at Bandito Barney's Premier Beach Club in Dundee! Raffles & Next Meetings 50/50 Raffle: And the winner was, Ed Armatys Apparel Raffle: No one won! White Elephant Raffle: Our goodies table was down this month. Hopefully next month will be better! Next Month’s Greeters: Linda & Jim Emmons Next Membership meeting is Thursday May 3rd. Dinner at 6:00 PM, meeting at 7:30 PM Next Board Meeting is Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
