DEVELOPMENT<br />
Tableaux charades game.<br />
As a group read a scene from ‘Mother<br />
Courage’. Then create tableaux’s from<br />
what they have read.<br />
Newspapers as a stimulus- learners are<br />
given time to pick a newspaper story<br />
and dramatise it in a <strong>Brecht</strong>ian style.<br />
This will carry onto the next session.<br />
Programme: Key Stage 3<br />
LO1: Be able to develop characterisation as an actor that is appropriate to <strong>Brecht</strong>’s style.<br />
LO2: Be able develop, rehearse and perform workshop material using <strong>Brecht</strong>ian techniques.<br />
LO3: To interpret basic features of Epic Theatre into original performances.<br />
LO4: To apply insightful approaches to working on a text.<br />
LO5: To present a final performance that includes some of the techniques learnt throughout the module.<br />
LO6: To evaluation both own and peer’s ideas and performances.<br />
