Educational Supervision<br />

1. Tra<strong>in</strong>ers are required to provide appraisal dur<strong>in</strong>g tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g and assessments that<br />

contribute to the evidence of competence of the tra<strong>in</strong>ee is recommended to provide a<br />

portfolio of assessed cases.<br />

2. Tra<strong>in</strong>ers must provide adequate on-site supervision for tra<strong>in</strong>ees at all times, as def<strong>in</strong>ed<br />

<strong>in</strong> the curriculum. This may require additional resources.<br />

3. Satisfactory assessments from tra<strong>in</strong>ers, and completed log books which demonstrate<br />

that the tra<strong>in</strong>ee meets the criteria of competence are required for a tra<strong>in</strong>ee to be<br />

assessed as competent <strong>in</strong> a particular procedure.<br />
