A Simple
high-tech solution
The magnetic power gives interesting
solutions for easy installations and
removal of the floor elements, avoiding
the use of any glue material.
MAGFLOOR can be applied on every
existing subfloor, after proper preparation
with our metalizing solutions.
MAGFLOOR is the new development of Technion
to obtain a permanent magnetic effect, in the
whole backing of an high pressure heterogeneous
PVC flooring system.
The magnetic backing, of the high pressure
PVC elements, has to find a metallic surface
to create effective magnetic attraction, closing
the magnetic circuit.
The magnetic sheet applied to the backing
of the single elements contains parallel
stripes, alternatively with north and south load.
In this way, matching the metallic surface, the
magnetic circuit will be permanently closed
and loaded.
To make use of the magnetic attraction,
our goal was to create metallic surfaces on
the floor or on the wall: this solution will avoid
any use of glue materials and make easy the
removal of the floor elements.
Metalizing solutions
for Magfloor
Metallic suspended raised floor
One possibility is to have metallic suspended
raised floor, giving easy access to the subfloor
for inspections.
Metallic Paint
The second solution is to apply our water
based metallic paint on every surface carefully
cleaned and prepared to accept our acrylic
paint – easy to apply and easy water cleaning
of the tools.
Metallic powder “floor to floor” sheet
A third solution is to apply our thin “floor
to floor” sheet, made from PVC containing
metallic powder, easy to install and easy to
remove when necessary.

The magnetic backing has a very low magnetic field, not to be measurable at 3/4 cm distance from the surface.
Therefore a direct contact of power cables or data lines with the surface or the backing of the Magfloor has to be avoided.
