Just a reminder that SPRING REGISTRATION BEGINS ON MONDAY, MARCH 4TH. If you are a current student,
you have between Monday, March 4th and Saturday, March 9th to re-register. Registration for the spring session is taken
in person at the gymnastics center or can be done over the phone with a credit card. During this week you are guaranteed
your current spot (level, day and time) only. If you received written notification from your coach saying you were eligible
to move to the next level, you should have already given us your class choices for the new level, day and time. If you have
not done so, please do this immediately so we have the best opportunity to accommodate you. Current students who do not
register by Saturday, March 9th run the risk of losing their spot to a child who is moving to a different level, requesting a
schedule change or on the waitlist. If you are a current student that would like to make a change to your schedule, please let us
know now so we can make the proper notations on the waitlists. All schedule changes are made based on availability.
SUMMER REGISTRATION is on a first come, first served basis giving priority to Oak Park residents. Summer registration
will begin May 6th at 10:00 a.m. for Oak Park residents and May 8th for non-residents. Summer registration is an online
registration. Online registration will be available until June 2nd. After that you will need to register in person. Also, if
you prefer to register in person you may do so between the following hours:
Monday, May 6th/10:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. (residents only)
Tuesday, May 7th/8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. park district offices, 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. gymnastics center (residents
only)
Wednesday, May 8th/8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (residents), 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (non-residents)
Thursday, May 9th/8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. park district offices, 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. gymnastics center
(residents & non-residents)
Friday, May 10th/8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. park district offices (residents & non-residents)
A BIG THANK YOU to the 502 students that participated in the annual cartwheel-a-thon February 4th - February 9th. In
total, you performed 34,471 cartwheels. Incredible!
The winner of the coaches contest this year was coach Katie. She guessed the total would be 31,313 cartwheels.
The most cartwheels done in the preschool program was 122 by Sienna Sabitsana.
The most cartwheels done in the girls rec. program was 133 by Audrey McKenna.
The most cartwheels done in the boys rec. program was 121 by Nathan Laboe.
The most cartwheels done by a team member including GIJO was 147 by Sophia Preys.
We’d like all our GK1, GK2, and GK3 students to help us get a little crazy during CRAZY SOCK WEEK
March 4th - March 9th. Please wear mismatched socks to class. One should be solid and one should be patterned to
help us remember our left from our right. It’s that easy to join in the fun but if you have any questions, let us know.
