1. Purchaser agrees to assume ownership, possession, and all responsibilities for the
Keeshond listed above, bred by Beth Blankenship of Trumpet Keeshonden.
2. Purchaser agrees to assume the future upkeep of the above-mentioned
Keeshond regarding health and well-being, which will include: maintaining the
dog on a premium quality dog food, yearly immunizations (as recommended by
local veterinarian), routine heartworm preventative, regular grooming
(including keeping nails short), treatment for internal and external parasites as
needed and veterinary care in case of illness, disease or trauma.
3. If at any time purchaser is unable tocare for this Keeshond for any reason, buyer
must notify Beth Blankenship and give her the first opportunity to take
the puppy back. Purchaser shall not transfer permanent possession or ownership
to another party without the above requirement being met. No other owner’s shall
be added to puppy’s AKC registration papers without consent of Seller. Seller is
also interested in assisting in the placement of this dog into a companion home,
if the buyer no longer wants this dog to be a part of their home and/or
breeding program.
4. Purchaser agrees to have puppy surgically altered in order to protect from
unplanned matings, to prevent behavioral changes associated with hormones
and to prevent health problems associated with being fertile. Altering a female
before her first heat cycle (8 to 10 months) will 100% eliminate the risk of
mammary cancer and other associated tumors.

5. Altering a male puppy can be done from 9 months to a year of age. It is
still the responsibility of the buyer to make sure the intact male puppy does
not mate with a female before his surgical alteration. Proof of altering from
buyer’s veterinarian should be sent to breeder upon completion.
6. If puppy develops a genetic defect that would cause this puppy to have to
be euthanized prior t o the puppy’s first birthday, seller agrees to replace
the dog with one of equivalent quality from the first available litter bred by
seller. Decision must be based on two different veterinarians opinions (at
least one of whom is selected by seller).
7. Purchaser has the right to return this puppy to Beth Blankenship within
48 hours of receipt o f puppy for a full refund of purchase price minus a
$50 fee for services involved in sale of puppy.
8. Purchaser agrees to use Trumpet’s as the first word of this Keeshond’s
registered name. The remainder of the name can be picked from a theme
provided by seller. Puppies call name can be anything the purchaser
chooses.
Note: Purchaser agrees to care for this dog to the best of their abilities,
providing a clean and stable environment, thorough training time,
appropriate guidance, and affection. Seller hopes purchase r will trust seller in
assisting with any decision or obstacle that may be encountered.
