<strong>Lederam</strong><br />
I would have never thought that technology could compete with nature!<br />
I must change my mind looking at the strange ‘total eclipse’<br />
manufactured by Enzo Catellani using a small microchip – a LED.<br />
If I close my eyes the effect is the same and, even emotionally, this light<br />
is able to produce the same feeling as if I were looking at the moon.<br />
It is a collection realized to save energy. It offers LED technology at<br />
mains voltage without the need for a transformer and is also dimmable.<br />
It is a 17W LED module with an output of 1.300 lumen, which<br />
corresponds to approximately 80W of the old linear halogen lamp.<br />
Using several modules, 5.000 lumens can be achieved, which is<br />
equivalent to approximately 250W of the old halogen bulbs. These<br />
LEDs have a life of approximately 30.000 hours and can be replaced.<br />
Therefore, in addition to having a long life and achieving savings in<br />
energy, they also have lower maintenance costs.<br />
It is a highly technological and minimal collection, completed with thin<br />
discs made with copper leaf, a warm, soft colour, which could be said<br />
‘the gold of the third Millennium’.<br />
And just looking at one of these objects composed by two overlapping<br />
and moveable discs that I immediately thought to the moon.<br />
The collection includes three wall lamps, two ceiling lamps and two<br />
floor lamps.<br />
