What is the Purpose of the Sports Camps?
Foundation Academy partners with families and the church to build a firm foundation for life
through a Christ-centered academic education and athletics. Foundation Academy’s Sports
Camps strive to provide opportunity for discipleship and skill developmentas students learn life
lessons relating to sacrifice, self-discipline, perseverancein a FUN and SAFE Christian
environment. Our Sports Camps are structured to help serve our FA and Community families
needing a FULL DAY safe, dependable, cost effective program during the summer
months.Campsare led by Foundation Academy Coaches that have a heart to disciple athletes. In
addition, FA high school students will assist the coaches by mentoring in skill work.
Who Can Attend the SportsCamps?
Foundation Academy Summer Sports Camps are open to the surrounding community, so we
encourage our Foundation Academy students to invite their friends and neighbors. Foundation
Academy Summer Sports Camps are designed for children who have completed grades K-11.
Drills and skills are age-appropriate and serve athletes of all skill levels, from beginners to the
proficient. See individual camp offerings for age and gender requirements.
Where Are the SportsCamps Located?
The Foundation Academy Sports Camps are located on the South Campus at 15304 Tilden
Road, Winter Garden, FL 34787. The South Campus features a state of the art gymnasium and
well manicured fields for outdoor sports.
What is the Registration Process for the Sports Camps?
To register for a sports camp please fill out the form below for each participant. Participants are
eligible to register for multiple camps using the same form. Turn in the completed form along
with your check; payable to Foundation Academy, to the Tilden Road campus.The fee for each
individual camp is between $225 and $285 for Full Day Camps. Each participant will receive
a Foundation Academy camp T-shirt. The Registration Deadline is June 1, 2013 for all June
Camps and July 1, 2013 for all July Camps. Sign up today to ensure your child’s spot in the

Academy Athletic Department.

__Full Day CHEERLEADING Camp

Cheerleading Camp is designed to help each participant advance in their cheer technique and
jumps while learning new sideline and halftime cheers. The camp is also designed to teach
character attributes that can be built upon for a lifetime such as cooperation, encouragement,
and leadership. Camp is instructed by Tami Uhrig, Head Coach at Foundation Academy.

Robert Arnold School of Archery is partnering with Foundation Academy in offering a unique
addition to our summer camp offerings. Coach Arnold has been a long time instructor in the
skill of archery and will be teaching and demonstrating necessary skills required for excellence
in this program. The camp will be instructed by Robert Arnold, or Arnold Archery School.

Basketball Camps are designed to help each participant advance their dribbling, shooting,
defensive and passing fundamentals while teaching teamwork and character attributes that can
be built upon for a lifetime. All camps will be instructed by Coach Al Peterson, Boys Basketball
Head Coach at Foundation Academy and Coach Deborah Pennick, Girls Basketball Head
Coach at Foundation Academy.

Soccer camps are designed to help each participant advance their footwork, agility, strength,
quickness, endurance, and ball striking skills while teaching teamwork and character attributes
that can be built upon for a lifetime. This camp is offered to both male and female participants.
The camp will be instructed by Coach Doug MacCraw, Boys Soccer Head Coach at Foundation
Academy.

addition to our summer camp offerings. Coach Arnold has been a long time instructor in the

__Full Day BASEBALL Camp

Baseball Camps are designed to be an all around skills camp for boys who have completed
grades K-8.These camps will focus on solid offensive and defensive strategies and skills of the
game, as well as develop the overall participant knowledge of the sport. All camps will be
instructed by Dan Fort, Varsity Baseball Coach at Foundation Academy.

__Full Day HIGH IMPACT SOCCER SLAM Camp-Boys/Girls

This camp is designed for the competitive athlete looking to improve all aspects of play
including the technical, tactical, physical and mental demands of the game. This camp will
include classroom time, discussions and interaction enabling the athlete to learn how to solve
problems "in the moment." Boys and girls, 6th - 12th grade, will find this camp both
challenging and rewarding!The camp will be instructed by Coach Doug MacCraw, Boys Soccer
Head Coach at Foundation Academy along with Special Guest Coaches!

__Full Day SOFTBALL Camp

Softball Camps are designed for players having some level of familiarity with the sport of
Softball. The camp will focus on individual skills in the larger framework of working as a
team. Instruction will include offensive and defensive tactics, throwing, batting, and
fielding. Though the camp will be best for players having some familiarity with the sport,
instruction can also be tailored to players having less experience. This camp will be led by
Coach Randy Ames, Head Softball Coach at Foundation Academy.

__Full Day FOOTBALL Camp

FootballCamps will be non-contact football skills camps for boys who have completed grades
K-8. The camps are designed for all skill levels and to help players work on the fundamentals of
the game such as passing, receiving, running and kicking. We will also provide instruction on
developing good footwork, agility, strength and speed. The camp will be instructed by Brad
Lord, Varsity Football Coach at Foundation Academy.

__Full Day VOLLEYBALL Camp

Volleyball Camps are designed to help each participant advance their serving, footwork, and
passing fundamentals. Also, real game situations will be conducted to incorporate the skills
being developed throughout the week. The camp is lead by Coach Danny Eleutiza, Head Coach
of Foundation Academy’s Volleyball Team. Coach Eleutiza led the Foundation Academy Lions
to their first ever Regional Championship and State Final.
