The Prep Station for Biomarker Discovery<br />
The CLINPROT <strong>robot</strong> is a workstation for fractionation and purification of complex samples and for MALDI<br />
target preparation. Optimized protocols for biomarker discovery are provided. By integration into the CLINPROT<br />
suite it automates the Clinical Proteomics workflow by magnetic beads based sample purification and MALDI target<br />
preparation. Thus, the CLINPROT <strong>robot</strong> achieves high sample throughput and highest reproducibility.<br />
Sample Preparation for<br />
MS-Analysis<br />
The CLINPROT <strong>robot</strong> automatically<br />
carries out all necessary preparation<br />
steps of the samples including<br />
the final spotting on the MALDI<br />
target, ready for MS analysis. All<br />
pipetting steps are performed by the<br />
<strong>robot</strong> without the necessity of user<br />
intervention – thus providing highly<br />
reproducible mass spectra.<br />
Comprehensive Software Control<br />
The user controls all processes with<br />
the intuitive software for <strong>robot</strong>ics<br />
control. The software provides data<br />
management for sample tracking<br />
and a hierarchical user-managementfor<br />
access authorization. Besides<br />
standard preparation protocols for<br />
the <strong>Bruker</strong> <strong>Daltonics</strong> magnetic beads<br />
kits, user-defined variable preparation<br />
options are available as well<br />
as parameters for subsequent mass<br />
spectra acquisition.<br />
