IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY: to understand our program better and/or be extra prepared for auditions, come to an<br />

audition preparation workshop on Tuesday, , May 24, 2011 @ 5:30 p.m. in the Elderwood Room, 7000 Doe Avenue, Avenue<br />

Visalia. You will be able to meet the directors, check out a copy of the show script and a music CD, ask questions and<br />

become acquainted with our audition process. Parents and students are encouraged to attend. Call Charlotte at 651-<br />

Calendar Policy: We are thrilled for our students when they are cast in outside productions…it means we are doing our job well! However we<br />

cannot have a successful production without 100% commitment and excellent attendance. You will not be excused from our rehearsals for other<br />

rehearsals. You should go to your teacher(s) immediately and find out about any field trips, band reviews, choir concerts concerts(back concerts to school night or open<br />

house if you are required to attend) or any other important events events. Give ive those dates to us in writing so that we can plan our early rehearsal calendar<br />

around you and then we will all stick to that calendar and only change it if we need to for the success of the production. We absolutely do not excuse<br />

students for last minute events. . It is important for you to be diligent in getting information from other programs early.<br />

TCOE <strong>Theatre</strong> <strong>Company</strong> Proudly Announces <strong>Audition</strong>s for Our Fall 2011 Production of<br />

If you are a Tulare County student grade 1 through 12 who loves to act, sing and dance we would love to have you come to our auditions for our fall<br />

production of Disney’s <strong>Mulan</strong> <strong>Jr</strong>. Travel back to the legendary, story-telling days of ancient China with this action-packed stage adaptation of<br />

Disney’s <strong>Mulan</strong>. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit <strong>Mulan</strong> and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor! <strong>Mulan</strong> <strong>Jr</strong>. is a<br />

heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit. The score includes favorites like “Reflection,” “Honor to Us All” and “I’ll Make a Man Out<br />

of You” as well as new songs that will get your audience up on its feet! The show will be performed at the LJ Williams <strong>Theatre</strong>, November 17-19, 2011.<br />

Participants typically pay a $20 instruction fee, and contribute $30 toward the expenses for costumes used in the show. There are leading roles and<br />

chorus parts for all ages.<br />

large ensemble cast as well that will be featured as Mothers, Daughters, Sons, Fathers, Dressmakers, Hairdressers, Groomers,<br />

Chinese and Hun soldiers, and more!<br />

This schedule is a sample for your information. An actual specific schedule will be made after the cast turns in their conflict schedules. Most<br />

people will not rehearse for the full three hours every day. In addition to telling us your vacation schedule, you should go to your teacher(s),<br />

coaches and directors immediately and find out about any field trips, band reviews, choir concerts or other important events in September,<br />

October, and November, and bring those dates to us in writing (stapled to your audition form if at all possible) so that we can best plan our final<br />

rehearsal calendar that works for everyone. This regular schedule will begin on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, but we are considering doing some<br />

preliminary work before that, depending on cast availability.<br />
