Ferno offer a range of tool strops (also known as tool lanyards) including standard length, elasticised and
tear away versions. The tearaway strop is constructed with a tear away safety strap that is designed to
absorb the force or shock load of a chainsaw fall. The safety strap will begin to tear when approximately
90 kg or greater of force is applied. It is also available in an elasticised version that reduces the length
of the strop when not under load and to minimise entanglement in the work area.

Throw Bags
Code VARB TB 250, 250 D (Dipped), 400 and 400 D (Dipped)
These hard wearing, rip resistant, nylon coated throw bags are
filled with either 250 g or 400 g of lead shot. Each Throw Bag
includes a 2.5 cm steel ring for attachment to throwing line.
Also available with white heavy-duty rubber dip for increased
wear resistance and longer life as well as offering greater
visibility.
Tough yet very pliable black leather with a soft padded felt inner. Large 40 mm thread holes provide
easy strap point adjustability for a comfortable fit. Available in T-Shape or Oval.
