The John Stuart Mill Institute is an independent research and teaching organiz<strong>at</strong>i<strong>on</strong> th<strong>at</strong><br />
engages and advises all levels of modern society. It is n<strong>on</strong>-partisan and its views are not<br />
aligned with any political party. As such, <strong>the</strong> institute does not per<str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>m c<strong>on</strong>tract research<br />
nor does it accept government funding. Initially founded by generous support from <strong>the</strong> <strong>SRH</strong><br />
<strong>Heidelberg</strong>, its future revenues will largely depend <strong>on</strong> priv<strong>at</strong>e c<strong>on</strong>tributi<strong>on</strong>s.<br />
