COLOCATION
We use a state-of-the-art and profoundly secured data centre
for housing our server systems in Frankfurt, Germany. We
offer optimized storage space for tower servers, single servers,
half racks and full racks in air-conditioned and futureoriented
premises. If you use a lot of technology or if you are
reliant on a higher-than-average security level, special cages
are available for you. Being an International carrier we also
offer further colocation areas for leasing in many European
locations.
IXP INTERNET EXCHANGE POINT
Starting in Frankfurt /Main we can easily establish excellent
connections to all important joint connections in Germany
on short notice. Thereby we arrange the connection to meet
your requirements regarding ping, bandwidth or system stability
in order to establish ideal premises for game server providers,
one-click- or web-hosts.

HOUSING & HOSTING INTERFACE
Many customers are not able to expand their product range
due to development costs or due to a lack of expert knowledge.
Our interfaces constitute a White Label-Solution - with nearly
unlimited room for expansion.
MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS
The housing- and hosting-interface is a so-called proactive
interface, able to independently carry out action. The web interface
offers a large number of functions, each module being
restrictable via an allocation of rights, e.g. in order to generate
individual client accounts.
Customer administration, a ticket system, various monitoring
services and RDNS administration are only some examples of
the functional scale of the web interface. Apart from these said
functions, complete billing, including automatic traffi c measurement,
is made possible.
HARDWARE MANAGEMENT
In order to have an overview at any time the interface allows
for an administration of hardware. For this purpose, integrated
hardware may be directly graphically integrated into, shifted
between or removed from racks via an AJAX-control. Moreover,
servers are identifi ed on the basis of their MACaddress and can
easily be found again via the switchports. The extremely fi ne
resolution of the racks enables a determination of each unit
accurate to a borehole.
OPTIMIZED FEATURES
The web interface excellently works together with Juniper- as
well as with Cisco-equipment. Besides the graphical views of
port occupancy and confi guration, there is also the possibility
of confi gurating the network, retrieving SNMP-data and confi -
gurating VLANs via the web interface. Technical components,
for example modular switches, can be displayed as well as common
rack or edge switches. Each port is additionally linked to
its own special traffi c graphics which can be displayed up to an
accuracy of 30 seconds via zoom function.
DDOS SECURITY
To protect our customers from so-called DDoS attacks (Distributed
Denial of Service), we developed our own Linux tool for
detecting attacks. This tool is able to independently identify
DDoS attacks and to automatically initiate countermeasures.
BASIC CONFIGURATION
Examples of common activities of this security measure are e.g.
automatic sending of SMS and e-mails to the administrators as
well as fully automatic blackholing of the attacked IP address.
The prompt blackholing of an IP address is achieved via an API
(Application Programming Interface) which we especially developed
for our hosting interface. It enables allautomatic blocking
of IPs directly via our backbone.
ADVANCED FEATURES
This tool is, however, just one feature of an effective protection
against external attacks. We offer you the possibility to create
your own fi ltering rules and to add them to the backbone. Possible
fi lters are, for example, restricting target IPs, fi ltering of
sources or also examining and identifying packet types. In particular
in the fi eld of DDoS security, our technical experts have
many years of experience and well-founded knowledge.

DOS UND DDOS
A DoS (Denial of Service) is an attack on a server in a network
aimed at disabling its service, i.e. its availability. Usually, this
is done by means of overloading. If the attack is effected coordinated
from a large number of other systems, this is called
DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service).
Such attacks are usually not carried out manually but via
backdoor programs or the like, which independently spread
through other computers in the network. A so-called DDoS
daemon waits for instructions to attack certain targets, i.e. to
continuously send data to a target.
