Photoacoustic Tomography: Objectives and Methods Imaging Objectives: 1. Positions and dimensions of photoacoustic sources. 2. Characteristics of PA sources: absorption coefficient, chemical composition, blood flow rate etc. Standard Methods: 1. Short (nanosecond) laser irradiation and broadband detection. 2.
