“(7) For the purpose of this rule, a group of persons is not
closely related by reason of the relationship described in
INSPRU 2.1.40R(1) if control is exercised by, or on behalf
of, HM Treasury.”

4. Interpretative provisions (including definitions) of the Handbook apply to this direction in
the same way as they apply to the Handbook.
