Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Program<br />

Develop program quality improvement goals through a consensus process with staff, and monit<strong>or</strong> your<br />

<strong>or</strong>ganization’s progress. A quality assurance/quality improvement (QA/QI) tool has been developed f<strong>or</strong><br />

implementing and evaluating a trauma-inf<strong>or</strong>med, co<strong>or</strong>dinated response to ARA in the adolescent health<br />

care setting. The QA/QI tool (See Appendix B), which uses a checklist f<strong>or</strong>mat, can help clinics and<br />

programs to identify their goals and monit<strong>or</strong> their progress. Topics addressed in the QA/QI tool are:<br />

• Assessment methods<br />

• Intervention strategies<br />

• Netw<strong>or</strong>king and training<br />

• Self care and supp<strong>or</strong>t<br />

• Data and evaluation<br />

• Education and prevention<br />

• Environment and resources<br />
