Hon’ble <strong>Chief</strong> <strong>Minister</strong> <strong>Shri</strong> <strong>Nitish</strong> <strong>Kumar</strong> inaugurated the renovated web site <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Rohtas</strong> <strong>District</strong> (http://rohtas.bih.nic.in ) on 18 th June 2010 in DRDA Seminar Hall,<br />
<strong>Rohtas</strong> during his visit to the <strong>Rohtas</strong> district.<br />
He has appraised NIC’s effort for spreading IT awareness and its role in the egovernance<br />
in the state. He was quite happy with the design and contents <strong>of</strong> the<br />
website. He appreciated NIC <strong>of</strong>ficers for doing good work.<br />
The website has been designed keeping in view the size <strong>of</strong> the page so that it takes<br />
minimum time to load on a slow internet connection. The website contains all the<br />
information related to various departments as well as historical and geographical<br />
background <strong>of</strong> the district. The daily tour schedule <strong>of</strong> DM, <strong>Rohtas</strong> is being put on the<br />
website. Soon the complete in Hindi version will be launched.<br />
NIC has extended the technical support & solutions to <strong>District</strong> Administration during<br />
the Vishwas Yatra, which was well appreciated.<br />
