Background<br />

<strong>Ali</strong> was educated in west London and studied law at the LSE. He then took a year<br />

out to travel before coming to the Bar in 1993. <strong>Ali</strong> was one of the youngest silks<br />

appointed in 2011. He is married with two children, aged 11 and 8.<br />

<strong>Ali</strong> follows cricket and tennis (huge Roger Federer fan), skis and scuba dives (both<br />

passably) and enjoys international film.<br />
