<strong>HOW</strong> <strong>TO</strong> <strong>ORDER</strong><br />
This document will assist you while you build your <strong>Fusion</strong> order – whether just a Handleset, a few interior<br />
locks or the entire house.<br />
There are many design choices that you can make including mixing and matching or ordering just what<br />
you see in the book. Once you have selected the visual you want,there are just a few important details and<br />
information we will need as you build your order:<br />

2 Besides the quantity, item name and finish there are a few technical pieces of information we will need:<br />
• Backset – the distance for the edge of the door to the center of the boring. There<br />
are only two choices – 2-3/8” or 2-3/4”” (picture to the right). If you are<br />
not sure – call us.<br />
• Handing – (ONLY Required for Levers and Mortise). All <strong>Fusion</strong> levers have a<br />
strong spring and positive return stop so they never sag and therefore we need<br />
to get the correct “handing” for each lever in your house. No matter the front<br />
door or inside the house, the rule is “from the outside of the room – which side of the door are the<br />
hinges on”. If on the Right – Right hand door. Left side – Left hand door.<br />
• Door Thickness: If your doors are very thick – or thin – let us know. Doors thicker than 2” or<br />
thinner than 1-3/8” require special assembly at <strong>Fusion</strong>.<br />
3 Every page in the Catalog has the part number builder and list price for what you are looking at on those<br />
pages. If you are unsure – please call us and we will walk you through the simple process of building<br />
your order.<br />
As simple as 1, 2, and 3 — the next page covers some necessary details you will need to collect for<br />
your order.
CHECKLIST FOR <strong>ORDER</strong>ING LOCKS<br />
Here’s what we need to know in order to quickly build and ship your <strong>Fusion</strong> Lock order.<br />
PASSAGE & PRIVACY<br />
• All passage & privacy locksets can be upgraded to<br />
the Premium 28 degree latch for an additional $15<br />
net.<br />
• Knob or Lever and rose Code (ex: 01 Knob - B6 rose)<br />
• Passage or Privacy<br />
• For Levers only - Handing right (R) or Left (L).<br />
• Finish (ex: PVD, BRN, etc...)<br />
• Latch Backset: 2-3/8” standard, specify 2-3/4”.<br />
• Need for Special Strikes: Extended Lip or “T”<br />
