We are proud to present our new catalogue. Coming in a new look, it features all our classic products as well as
a large variety of new ones, including the following highlights:
• Miratray Implant: The innovative, revolutionary impression tray for implantology. Developed and patented
worldwide by the team of Prof. Dr. Spiekermann and Dr. Haselhuhn (University Aachen, Germany) and Dipl.-Ing.
K. Reimers (TH Aachen).
• LaserHF: The first device worldwide offering the combination of laser and HF surgery in one compact casing.
This Hager & Werken device was developed in-house and financed with German federal and state funding.
• miradent SOS Dentobox: Prolongs the opportunity to re-implant avulsed teeth for up to 2 days. Thanks to
the “Zahnexperten24” campaign, numerous German schools, kindergartens and public swimming pools have
already been equipped with these emergency sets.
Today our company is involved in all aspects of product management, from research and development through
to manufacturing and marketing. We are continuously growing in our home market of Germany, partly thanks to
our new sister company HAGER PHARMA that is active in the pharmaceutical field. We are at our foreign customers’
disposal with various subsidiaries abroad.
Based on a close partnership with the dental trade distributing our products worldwide, Hager & Werken has
now been active in the dental business for 4 generations as a purely family-owned company. We are committed

of the team Prof. Dr. Spiekermann and Dr. Haselhuhn (University
Aachen, Germany) and Dipl.-Ing. K. Reimers (TH Aachen). An implant
impression tray in a matter of seconds, high-precision and big cost
savings, without laboratory.

Implant impression tray with foil technique
• Easy handling by patented foil technique
• Combines the advantages of reposition (convenience, costs) with the
precision of the “pick-up” technique
• Grinding-in no longer necessary, abutments well visible through the foil
• Saves time - one additional patient appointment only
• Large cost savings, no individual tray needed (low laboratory costs)
• Clean and precise impression taking – no overflow of impression
material
• Three sizes each for maxilla and mandible, for dentulous and edentulous

Impression
Highly precise, inexpensive and time-saving impressions with
the Algiloid method
The Algiloid method consists of:
• Algi-Therm device for heating and supply of the material
• Algiloid hydro material as “light body”
• And a brand alginate as “heavy body” material
Algiloid is heated in the Algi-Therm unit and held ready for use. It
is directly applied to the tooth stumps, after this the alginate-filled
impression tray is brought into the mouth. The alginate thereby cools
the hydrocolloid as well, making the use of cooled impression trays
unnecessary. The finished impression must be cast within approx. 20
minutes.
Users call Algiloid “the most precise impression material” – clinical
tests revealed no difference in reproduction of the situation and details
versus pure hydro impressions. Material costs for Algiloid impressions
amount to € 1.50 only (pure agar-agar). Thus Algiloid combines
the advantages of alginate and hydro impressions – and at the same
time avoids their disadvantages.
