§ 82049. State Agency.<br />
“State agency” means every state office,<br />
department, division, bureau, board and commission,<br />
and the Legislature.<br />

“State candidate” means a candidate who seeks<br />
nomination or election to any elective state office.<br />

There is hereby established in state government<br />
the <strong>Fair</strong> <strong>Political</strong> <strong>Practices</strong> <strong>Commission</strong>. The<br />
<strong>Commission</strong> shall have five members, including the<br />
chairman. No more than three members of the<br />
<strong>Commission</strong> shall be members of the same political<br />
party.<br />
§ 83101. Appointment by Governor.<br />
The chairman and one additional member of the<br />
<strong>Commission</strong> shall be appointed by the Governor. The<br />
Governor’s appointees shall not be members of the<br />
same political party.
