<strong>Berlin</strong> <strong>British</strong> <strong>School</strong> serves the international community of Germany’s<br />

Of the nineteen candidates six secured 40 points or more, a total<br />
reached by as few as 1.8% of <strong>IB</strong> candidates worldwide each year. One<br />
of our students achieved the maximum total of 45 points, secured by<br />
as few as 1 in 500 candidates across the world; another 44; and a third<br />
43. The average score overall was 34 points, three higher than last year’s<br />
average at BBS and at least four above the international average.<br />

Secondary <strong>School</strong>
<strong>Berlin</strong> <strong>British</strong> <strong>School</strong><br />
<strong>Berlin</strong> <strong>British</strong> <strong>School</strong> is offering intensive, structured Easter <strong>Revision</strong><br />
courses for <strong>IB</strong> <strong>Diploma</strong> students in April 2012 in key subjects. The<br />
purpose of the courses will be to provide full-on revision of one or<br />
two <strong>IB</strong> <strong>Diploma</strong> courses at the optimum time before the <strong>Diploma</strong><br />
examinations start in early May.<br />
<strong>Berlin</strong> <strong>British</strong> <strong>School</strong> has been teaching the <strong>IB</strong> <strong>Diploma</strong> programme<br />
since 2002 with considerable success. Our highly qualified <strong>British</strong><br />
and international staff are experienced <strong>IB</strong> <strong>Diploma</strong> teachers who are<br />
committed to maintaining rigorous academic standards.<br />
Set in an idyllic location at the northern edge of <strong>Berlin</strong>’s city forest,<br />
the Grunewald, <strong>Berlin</strong> <strong>British</strong> <strong>School</strong> is well served by the city’s public<br />
transport system, and easy to reach.<br />
Easter <strong>Revision</strong> April 2012<br />
Each course is an intensive three day revision package, with sixteen and a<br />
half hours teaching time. Small group tuition will take place in modern,<br />
well-furbished classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards.<br />

The recently built and well equipped library will be available between<br />
4 and 6 pm for students who wish to work on assignments. In the<br />
evening of Day Two a sight-seeing tour of <strong>Berlin</strong>, included in the<br />
course cost, will be organised.<br />

Accommodation<br />
All courses are non-residential, but we work in close partnership with<br />
the Jugendgästehaus Heerstrasse, a newly opened youth hostel that<br />
specialises in school visits and educational tours. The hostel offers<br />
excellent accommodation approximately one kilometre from the<br />
school, and we offer a free minibus shuttle service between the hostel<br />
and Secondary <strong>School</strong> every morning and afternoon. The hostel offers<br />
a quiet, relaxed and civilized environment in which to enjoy your stay<br />
in <strong>Berlin</strong>. It is also ideally placed in order to access the excellent public<br />
transport system that can take you anywhere in Europe’s most exciting<br />
