Berlin British School serves the international community of Germany’s
capital city. It selects all the best qualities of a British education and

IB Diploma results 2011 at BBS
Of the nineteen candidates six secured 40 points or more, a total
reached by as few as 1.8% of IB candidates worldwide each year. One
of our students achieved the maximum total of 45 points, secured by
as few as 1 in 500 candidates across the world; another 44; and a third
43. The average score overall was 34 points, three higher than last year’s
average at BBS and at least four above the international average.

Berlin British School
Berlin British School is offering intensive, structured Easter Revision
courses for IB Diploma students in April 2012 in key subjects. The
purpose of the courses will be to provide full-on revision of one or
two IB Diploma courses at the optimum time before the Diploma
examinations start in early May.
Berlin British School has been teaching the IB Diploma programme
since 2002 with considerable success. Our highly qualified British
and international staff are experienced IB Diploma teachers who are
committed to maintaining rigorous academic standards.
Set in an idyllic location at the northern edge of Berlin’s city forest,
the Grunewald, Berlin British School is well served by the city’s public
transport system, and easy to reach.
Easter Revision April 2012
Each course is an intensive three day revision package, with sixteen and a
half hours teaching time. Small group tuition will take place in modern,
well-furbished classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards.

The recently built and well equipped library will be available between
4 and 6 pm for students who wish to work on assignments. In the
evening of Day Two a sight-seeing tour of Berlin, included in the
course cost, will be organised.

These courses include lunch and coffee/biscuits during breaks.
One course – 475 € (445 € if paid before February 10, 2012)
Two courses – 875 € (825 € if paid before February 10, 2012)
Accommodation
All courses are non-residential, but we work in close partnership with
the Jugendgästehaus Heerstrasse, a newly opened youth hostel that
specialises in school visits and educational tours. The hostel offers
excellent accommodation approximately one kilometre from the
school, and we offer a free minibus shuttle service between the hostel
and Secondary School every morning and afternoon. The hostel offers
a quiet, relaxed and civilized environment in which to enjoy your stay
in Berlin. It is also ideally placed in order to access the excellent public
transport system that can take you anywhere in Europe’s most exciting
capital city in a manner of minutes. The hostel‘s website can be found
