combined heat and power station.
For us, environmental protection in practice
means conserving energy, water and resources
in all production processes. In Höchst,
we operate our own natural gas heat and
power station. Annually, that means:
• a 60% reduction in heat requirement
through heat recovery systems;
• a 65% reduction in CO 2
emissions;
• 13,000 MWh of electricity produced;
• 12,000 MWh of thermal energy generated.
