Portátiles Itronix a prueba de golpes, líquidos y suciedad 

La empresa norteamericana Itronix, especializada en productos para profesionales que demandan 

dispositivos de gran robustez ha presentado su gama de productos, compuesta por dos ordenadores 

portátiles, un ordenador similar al Tablet PC y un PDA, todos ellos completamente compatibles con las 

soluciones software y hardware del mercado. 

GoBook VR-1 es un ordenador portátil semirrobusto orientado al sector de consumo fabricado con aleación de magnesio, capaz de resistir 

temperaturas entre -10 y 60 grados centígrados. Debido a su capa protectora puede amortiguar golpes (desde 75 centímetros como 

máximo). Cuenta con un procesador Pentium M a 1,86 MHz, 2 MB de memoria caché, disco duro de 40 GB, 512 MB de RAM y monitor de 

12,1 pulgadas. Uno de sus puntos fuertes es su completa conectividad, ya que puede montar opcionalmente Wi-Fi, WWAN, GPS y 

Bluetooth. El precio del GoBook VR-1 es de 2.822 € (el fabricante de vehículos Hummer también lo ofrece como accesorio). 

Por su parte, el GoBook III es un portátil de alta robustez permite trabajar bajo condiciones extremas (lluvia, nieve, polvo, suciedad, golpes 

externos…). Cuenta con una pantalla táctil de 12,1 pulgadas, además de las mismas características inalámbricas del VR-1. El precio del 

GoBook III es de 3.669,5 €. 

Otro de los productos que Itronix comercializa es el Duo-Touch, un ordenador tipo Tablet PC (cuenta con Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 

2005 como sistema operativo) con pantalla táctil de 8,4 pulgadas resistente a golpes capaz de integrarse en vehículos para utilizarlos como 

GPS, ya que es posible instalar cualquier software en esta materia. Duo-Touch se comercializa a un precio de 2.707,6 €. 

El último de los productos de Itronix es un gran PDA ultra robusto de 800 gramos (Q-200) diseñado para profesionales de gran movilidad. 

Construidoa bajo un procesador Intel XScale a 400Mz cuenta con Windows CE.NET 4.0 y al igual que el resto de productos está diseñado 

para absorber todo tipo de golpes. 

Compatible con GPRS, Bluetooth y Wi-Fi (802.11b), puede incluir un lector de tarjetas CF (tipo II) y PCMCIA opcional, además de contar 

con un puerto Ethernet 10/100 Mbps. Podemos encontrarlo a partir de 2.072 € euros.
