album The Holy Coming of The Storm led to<br />
an invite from Bob Harris to record a session<br />
for his BBC Radio 2 show in <strong>the</strong> studio, as he<br />

two virtuoso musicians, Guitar Summit features<br />
Californian guitar maestro Walter Strauss, who<br />
was described as “a many-layered, multi-textured,<br />
one-man folk festival” by Maverick Magazine, and<br />
Scotland’s Tony McManus, who deftly brings <strong>the</strong><br />
ornamentation normally associated with pipes<br />
and fiddles to his traditional guitar sound.<br />

North-East musicians, including two founders<br />

creamy vocal harmonies and some silky<br />

Former Danny Kyle Open Stage winner, Eilidh Grant<br />
loves to sing Scottish traditional songs - and is<br />
especially fond of those of Robert Burns, but her<br />
feel for and interpretation of lyrics shows when<br />
she switches to a more contemporary style.<br />

Brooklyn native Rebecca Pronsky is one of New<br />
York’s finest singers/songwriters. She visits <strong>Glasgow</strong><br />

One of <strong>the</strong> most distinctive voices on <strong>the</strong><br />
Canadian music scene, James Keelaghan is a<br />
masterful story-teller. His literate song-writing<br />
has earned him a host of prestigious awards<br />

Cards features tracks co-written with <strong>the</strong> likes of<br />
David Francey, Karine Polwart and Rose Cousins.<br />
