Profit Making for Nonprofits & Intro to Keyboarding at Palm Beach State College Belle Glade<br />

Participants who complete this course will have a game plan for fundraising in place as<br />
it relates to nonprofits. <strong>The</strong> course will analyze how non-profits are structure, how much<br />
capital they need to raise, how to come up with a business plan, and how to use<br />
creative fundraising techniques such as Web funding, Charity Based Auctions, Product<br />
Development and Catalog Sale, Public/Private Partnerships, and Community<br />

Introduction to Keyboarding<br />
This course provides students with in-depth hands-on keyboarding experience.<br />
Emphasis will be placed on exposing the students to learning the home row, top row as<br />
well as bottom row keys. In addition, students will be given continuous keyboarding<br />
drills which will enable them to improve their gross words per minute speed based on<br />
one, three and five minute timings. Fee: $75.00<br />
