Chart Study Recommended<br />
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of the<br />
interior options, it is suggested that as each subject<br />
here is read, a reference be made to the applicable<br />
chart on the right-hand pages of this section.<br />
Bucket Seats<br />
Eight leather upholstery code numbers suffixed with<br />
B are available with Bucket Seats as a production<br />
option at extra charge.<br />
Expanded Vinyl in Calais Cars<br />
In addition to a Duet cloth option in six colors,<br />
two all-vinyl interiors—Black and Sandalwood—are<br />
offered in the three Calais body styles.<br />
Expanded Vinyl is an extra-thick vinyl-coated fabric<br />
upholstery material of superior quality, luxuriant to<br />
the touch, with an appealing Mill grain surface<br />
texture.<br />
The soft resilient feel of Expanded Vinyl is attained<br />
by sandwiching a sponge-like cellular structure<br />
between the backing fabric and plastic top coating.<br />
Large Upholstery Book Has Complete Duet Pattern<br />
All six Calais Duet cloth colors have alternating<br />
light and dark tone stripes of approximately 1" and<br />
2" widths.<br />
In the limited size of the Data Book samples, some<br />
pieces of material may only show one of the colors.<br />
Therefore, to view the entire pattern, it may be<br />
necessary to refer to the large upholstery book. Also,<br />
the Calais trim style of wide pleats with a deep sew<br />
line reduces the actual visible width of the small<br />
stripe by half.<br />
De Ville Convertible Leather Interiors<br />
Thirteen bench seat perforated leather options are<br />
offered at no extra charge in the Convertible. Four<br />
combinations are available with Bucket Seats. There<br />
is a charge for the Bucket Seats, but the leather is<br />
without extra charge on this body style only.<br />
Covert and Maroon Cloths in De Ville<br />
Two cloth patterns—Duchess and Darien—in eight<br />
color options are offered in three De Ville closed cars.<br />
Covert and Maroon are two new colors which are<br />
available in the Darien cloth pattern.<br />
Leather Interiors in De Ville Closed Cars<br />
In De Ville closed cars, nine bench seat perforated<br />
leather combinations are offered at an extra charge.<br />
In the Coupe and Hardtop Sedan styles, Black and<br />
Red leathers are available with Bucket Seats at an<br />
extra charge.<br />
Leather in Brougham & Sixty Special is<br />
Non-Perforated<br />
Eight color options of non-perforated leather are<br />
offered in the Brougham and Sixty Special Sedans<br />
at an extra charge. The trim style is pillow and<br />
button.<br />
Eldorado Leather Upholstery Available at<br />
Extra Charge<br />
Nine perforated leather upholstery selections are<br />
offered at an extra charge. Two of these—Black and<br />
Sandalwood—are available with Bucket Seats. There<br />
is also an extra charge for the Bucket Seats.<br />
Eldorado Cloth Options<br />
Two patterns in seven color combinations of cloth<br />
and vinyl are optional in the Eldorado.<br />
One of the cloths is a dramatic black and white<br />
Dalmatian houndstooth pattern which is used on the<br />
seat inserts and is surrounded by black vinyl.<br />
Fleetwood Brougham & Sixty Special<br />
Interiors Include Two Trim Styles<br />
Cloth upholstery is available in two trim styles. (See<br />
pages C-25 through C-29 for illustrations.)<br />
The cloth upholstery options in the Brougham and<br />
Sixty Special, include three patterns—Diplomat,<br />
Damascus, Devonshire—in ten colors.<br />
To provide a choice of cloth patterns in the two<br />
most popular Fleetwood interior colors—Black and<br />
Dk. Blue—two cloth selections in each of these<br />
colors are offered.<br />
