The clear structural order of this scheme is directly related to the “<strong>CYTS</strong>–philosophy”: clear and transparent, but innovative and efficient<br />
at the same time. Bridges and observer elevators are placed within the two 75 meters high atriums so that the space and the<br />
view on the city landscape can be physically experienced by both visitors and employees. The center part of the building is determined<br />
by four-story high halls. These spaces serve as communication zones for all the people working in this <strong>CYTS</strong> building and also grant a<br />
view of the city. By lush green these zones provide a pleasant atmosphere. The building’s façade consists of a dark aluminum structure,<br />
giving the building a strong proportion. The architects themselves also identify with the building: In July 2007 the expanding <strong>Beijing</strong><br />
dependence of <strong>gmp</strong> architects moved into their new office on the 12th floor of <strong>CYTS</strong> <strong>Plaza</strong>.
