(Lure): C 10 to C 21 unsaturated aliphatic straight chain alcohols, aldehydes and
ketone derivates.
4. FIRST-AID MEASURES
Eye Flush out with copious amounts of water for 15
minutes whilst separating the eyelids.
Skin contact
Wash affected areas with warm water and soap.
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air; give artificial respiration if not
breathing.
Ingestion Wash out mouth with water if conscious, also drink 2
glasses of water to dilute, seek medical attention.

Extinguishing media
Fight surrounding fire.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and inhalation. Wear protective clothing.
Method for cleaning up – cover with sand and sweep up, burn in a chemical
incinerator equipped with afterburner.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Personal protective clothing to be worn i.e. overalls, rubber gloves.
Keep in a sealed container in a cool dry place.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROL / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Ensure that eye wash stations are close to all work areas; also have easy and
quick access to all wash areas.
Always wear personal protective equipment (ppe) as mentioned in section 7
“Handling and Storage” and follow any first aid measures where necessary as
stated in section 4.
