Fall 2007: Compiled a singles mark of 3-4 for the fall while facing five ranked opponents … reached<br />
the semifinals of consolation action at the William & Mary Invitational before falling to teammate,<br />
Melissa Mang … went 2-1 at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships to end the fall campaign<br />
… in doubles action, went 7-2 when combining with Mang, as the duo began the fall with a fivematch<br />
win streak … that streak came at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships as the tandem<br />
won the doubles title to earn a berth to National Indoors, where the duo reached the title match<br />
of the consolation bracket … the pair notched wins over the No. 1- and No. 2-ranked teams in<br />
the nation over the course of fall play, in addition to two victories over top-60 opponents, as the<br />
duo faced five ranked tandems … paired with Jessi Robinson to record a ledger of 3-2, as the<br />
duo went 3-1 at the William & Mary Invitational to win the Flight A consolation draw … in the<br />
Southeast Region Dec. 7 listings, ranked second in doubles with Mang and 18th among singles<br />
players. 2006-07: Posted an overall singles record of 23-10, including marks of 15-4 in dual<br />
matches, 8-2 in ACC play and 6-5 in fall action … also went undefeated versus ranked opponents<br />
at 3-0 for the spring and 4-0 for the year … won three of four matches played in the month of<br />
February … compiled a perfect 8-0 mark for the month of March and won her first three matches<br />
in April for a win streak of 11 matches … was tops on the Blue Devil squad in singles wins (23),<br />
dual match victories (15) and ACC triumphs (eight) … in the fall, went 3-1 at the Gator Invitational<br />
and also at ITA Regionals ... combined with three teammates to go 16-12 for the year in doubles<br />
competition … was 7-4 when combining with Jessi Robinson, as the duo went 6-3 versus<br />
conference foes … posted a mark of 6-4 when pairing with Tory Zawacki and teamed up with<br />
Kristin Cargill to go 3-4 for the year … was named to the All-ACC Academic Women's Tennis<br />
Team. Prep: Played one year of high school tennis as a freshman … was named Tennis Player<br />
of the Year by the Express Times and the Morning Call … tennis team MVP at Freedom High<br />
School … led her team to the Pennsylvania state championship in 2002 … was a National Open<br />
doubles champions in 2004 … finished in the top 12 at National Hard Courts in 2005 … Heritage<br />
Academy Wendy's High School Heisman recipient. Personal: Born Amanda Allen Granson on<br />
