DARCO presents a <strong>new</strong> addition to its family of splints and bandages:<br />
the <strong>Body</strong> <strong>Armor</strong><strong>®</strong> <strong>Vario</strong> ankle splint for the treatment of medial and<br />
lateral ankle disorders.<br />
What is <strong>new</strong> is the innovative <strong>Vario</strong> concept: for the first time, the<br />
benefits of the classic double-shell splint are combined with variable<br />
heel posting disks (2°/4°/6°) for varus or valgus correction and arch<br />
height adjustments (high/medium/low). This allows customized postoperative<br />
and conservative treatment tailored to the patient's progress.<br />
<strong>The</strong> <strong>Body</strong> <strong>Armor</strong><strong>®</strong> <strong>Vario</strong> features a high degree of functionality with<br />
com fort during wear. <strong>The</strong> anatomically shaped stabilizing uprights<br />
and proven DARCO Y-closure system allow the foot to be positioned<br />
optimally and securely in the splint. For even greater comfort, we<br />
recommend wearing a long absorbent sock. With its low height, the<br />
splint can be worn with any laced shoes or trainers.<br />
