UVOD<br />
Knjižnica Hrvatskoga sabora <strong>2013.</strong> godine započinje s periodičnom objavom odabranih<br />
publikacija institucija Europske unije pod nazivom <strong>Nove</strong> <strong>EU</strong> <strong>publikacije</strong> u <strong>Knjižnici</strong> <strong>Sabora</strong>.<br />
Ovaj katalog sadrži izbor javno dostupnih <strong>EU</strong> publikacija a organiziran je prema sljedećim<br />
područjima: aktivnosti Europske unije, pravo i pravosuđe, vanjski odnosi, trgovina-tržišno<br />
natjecanje, ekonomija-financije, društvena pitanja, informacije-obrazovanje-kultura-sport,<br />
industrija-poduzetništvo-usluge te znanstvena i tehnička istraživanja. U slučaju kada<br />

Summary: This study provides an overview of the current situation as well as of the<br />
advantages and the challenges linked to the use of Financial Engineering Instruments<br />
(FEIs) in Cohesion policy. Based on this ‘easy-to-read’ guide to FEIs and the lessons<br />
learned so far, the study presents recommendations on how to improve the use of<br />
innovative financial instruments in the future.<br />

The legal and practical situation in the Member States (<strong>listopad</strong>, <strong>2013.</strong>)<br />
Summary: This study is a literature review about the ability of undocumented migrant<br />
women who experience domestic violence to access shelter and support. The study<br />
brings together data on characteristics of this group of women and the difficulties they<br />
face in seeking help. It includes eight case studies and important lessons about the<br />
political/economic, social and individual-level barriers to their seeking the help they need<br />
to preserve their Human Right to safety.<br />

of the European Commission's Impact Assessment accompanying its proposal for a<br />
Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on measures facilitating the<br />
exercise of rights conferred on workers in the context of freedom of movement for<br />
workers (COM (2013) 236 final), submitted on 26 April <strong>2013.</strong> It analyses whether the<br />
principal criteria laid down in the Commission’s own Impact Assessment Guidelines, as<br />
well as additional factors identified by the Parliament in its Impact Assessment<br />
Handbook, appear to be met by the IA.<br />

Summary: The Gender Equality Index is the result of 3 years of work and the result of a<br />
long consultation process with many organisations and stakeholders. It was first<br />
presented to the public in a conference in Brussels on 13 June <strong>2013.</strong> The Gender Equality<br />
Index is a synthetic indicator that measures how far (or close) the <strong>EU</strong> and its Members<br />
States were from achieving complete gender equality in 2010.<br />
