opportunities for brands and retailers as consumers begin<br />
to use mobile phones to plan their shopping and during<br />
visits to stores, and details ways in<br />
which <strong>GS1</strong> standards can support<br />

The year ahead: Beyond mobile devices<br />
Over the coming months we will track innovative<br />
activities taking place as user companies and local <strong>GS1</strong><br />
Member Organisations continue to experiment with the<br />
applications made possible by mobile technologies. Our<br />
vision remains that people seeking product information<br />
can find accurate data that earns their trust. However,<br />
the scope of this project has now moved beyond mobile<br />
devices to cover any business-to-consumer interaction<br />
involving product information. To get involved in this<br />
