The prior investment areas which will be supported in <strong>Gaziantep</strong> with the same<br />
incentives mechanisms <strong>of</strong>fered to 5 th region are:<br />
• Tourism investments made in Culture and Tourism Conservation and Development Regions which are<br />
determined by the Council <strong>of</strong> Ministers<br />
• Mining Investments<br />
• Investments made in good or passenger transportation by railways and maritime.<br />
• Specific investments made with a minimum <strong>of</strong> 20 million TRY in pharmaceutical defense industry<br />
• Testing centers, wind tunnels, and similar investments(automotive, space or defense industry)<br />
• International Trade fair investments with a closed area <strong>of</strong> minimum 50.000 m2<br />
• Primary, secondary and high school investments made by private sector<br />
• The investments made for manufacturing the products which are the output <strong>of</strong> R&D projects<br />
supported by the Ministry <strong>of</strong> Science, Industry and Technology.<br />
