Being number 1: DIAGER was the fi rst company in its sector to obtain ISO 14001 certifi cation issued by AFAQ in<br />
2000. 11 years later: DIAGER is still certifi ed according the same agreement !<br />
Promoting our products<br />
ECO-DESIGNED. FLASH drill bit: same performances with no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).<br />
ECO-PRODUCED. A proportion of our machines operates dry, meaning that the use and discharges of oils are limited.<br />
ECO-PACKAGES. Some of our packagings are reusable, suitable for large volumes and can be recycled.<br />
Compliance with regulations, equates thinking about the future.<br />
REACH, RoHS, Environmental data product, etc., we work together with partners and working group organised by the Ministry<br />
for Ecology and Sustainable Development.<br />

Reducing our CO² emissions<br />
• We recover the heat<br />
generated by our production<br />
equipment to heat our plants.<br />
• We use a wood chip boiler to<br />
heat our administrative buildings.<br />
• We work with local suppliers to limit<br />
the transportation of our products.<br />
Since September 2011, we have<br />
optimised single-parcel domestic<br />
transport, which represents<br />
a saving equivalent to 1,600<br />
tonnes of carbon every year<br />
(i.e. approximately 35% of the<br />
company's overall emissions).<br />
Recycling our waste<br />
We sort and separate our waste so<br />
that it can be recycled:<br />
• Reusable package, package<br />
transformed for another use.<br />
• Waste recycling or energy<br />
recovery.<br />
Controlling our air emissions.<br />
We filter our air emissions to protect<br />
the environment and guarantee the<br />
best air quality for neighbouring<br />
populations.<br />
Saving natural resources<br />
We have reduced our water<br />
consumption by 40% in the last 10<br />
years by improving our industrial<br />
process.<br />
Voluntary approach<br />
Our environmental approach is a<br />
voluntary approach that was initiated<br />
in 1998 by the General Management.<br />
We aim to include the environment in<br />
all of our refl ections regarding product<br />
development, machinery development<br />
and the construction of new plants, etc.<br />
