Locations - Canlan Ice Sports

The camp will be led by Skinner Hockey Inc. Head
Instructor, James Sullivan, a specialist in the Skinner
Stickhandling system. The camp will focus on
teaching stickhandling agility techniques utilizing
exciting, state-of-the-art drills, developed to help
players focus on their puck-handling and instruct
them on the various options that are available to
them when they have possession of the puck. The
video portion analyzes stickhandling moves used
by pro players with a breakdown of the mechanics
and further demonstrates how to beat a
defenseman and a goalie and why these moves
work. It also teaches players how to train and
develop at home. A corrective, positive and
fast-paced coaching style is used in this camp to
develop players and allow them to improve their
overall game and individual skills.
The daily format will consist of two hours of on-ice
instruction with an additional one hour off-ice video
session. To keep participants having fun and being
safe, full hockey equipment with helmet and cage
are mandatory.
